Sentimental Styling is a project that analyses nostalgic and recognisable styling choices of my family. The focus of the collection was based on my own personal experience with family and fashion. Established by my own family connections I was able to identify with my own personal life which really helped the development of this project.
Styling development was essential to this project as it enabled me to build a narrative through clothing and accessory choices. I used and manipulated my grandparent’s house which encouraged me to embody the nostalgic atmosphere.
