This June, we are taking up residency at @trobar_ in Cala Ratjada, Mallorca! Trobar is opening its doors to a handpicked lineup of chefs bringing fresh voices to the island and I am so excited to be part of this story. Expect technicolour dishes, unexpected shapes and the first flavours of a Mediterranean summer. Food chosen as much for how it nourishes as how it tastes. Excited to share a deeper look into our dinner menu with you—one we’re particularly proud of. And who better to introduce it than Alessandra herself: “When Jess and Renato invited me to be Mond’s resident chef for the season, I was thrilled—not only for the chance to escape winter but for the opportunity to immerse myself in the rich, diverse tropical produce of Southeast Asia. This menu is a celebration of the bold, vibrant flavours of southern Sri Lanka, inspired by the incredible local ingredients I encountered there. Each dish took shape through Saturday morning visits to the Dickwella food market and shared meals at the neighbourhood rice and curry ‘hotels.’ The local produce brought back memories of my childhood in Kenya, sparking a deep excitement to work with ingredients like coconut and sailfish. One dish I’m especially proud of is the “Moju Dosa”—a combination of aubergine moju and coconut mallum, served with a light, fluffy urad dal dosa. This dish was a true collaboration with the Mond kitchen team, drawing on their family recipes. It’s a tribute to Sri Lanka’s diverse culinary traditions, from Tamil to Sinhalese. Perhaps the most unexpected dish on the menu is the “Malu Mala”—a sailfish steak marinated in red curry, kaffir lime, and coconut, then char-grilled in a banana leaf. This dish is named after our incredible evening head chef, Malshan (Mala), who grew up in the fishing village of Kudawella. As the son of a fisherman, he shared his deep knowledge of local seafood with me. Styling @daturastudioisla #2 For our second Styling Edit at Studio Isla in Deià, meet Alessandra, a holistic plant-based chef living and working near us. Alessandra came in to pick her favorite pieces, styling them to make five outfits for different occasions she has coming up. I met Alessandra a few years ago here at the store and, since then, we have become neighbors and friends. You might remember her from one of our previous Member Styles here in Mallorca. A weekend in Piemonte cooking for the gorgeous Aragno family matriarch’s 70th birthday surprise - this time reunited with @theremedychef 💓 We were spoiled rotten by the mind boggling autumnal bounty that northern Italy has to offer this time of year - chestnuts, winter greens and baked goods sent directly from the heavens! We cooked incessantly in fever dream straight out of Doctor Doolittle with talking animals, dromedaries and giant pumpkins pulled straight from the soil rolled whole into the wood-fired furnace on the Aragno family animal-sanctuary estate. What fun we had! Thank you dear @francesca_aragno for having us along 🙏🏻❤️

Marseille tu es dingué-liscious! The most extraordinary dinner with the Brujis @francoischampsaur & @catherinebaudet at @poissonneriekennedymarseille It’s been a while since anything excited me as much as this menu - I mean, we literally ordered every dish on it! Each mouthful came with such deep yet intensely delicate flavours, each element prepared with so much love that I almost cried. Merci!
