SEARCHING URGENTLY through PILES OF CRAP in my tiny studio room and I find 50 sealed letters containing mine and @flosimms_creative poems. Joy. We are the legend.

Just over a year ago I did this incredibly silly thing for AGEOFTHE Crone to celebrate our dearest pal @hideousbogwitch Only just finally getting round to posting these amazing photos, because I'm terrible at social media. I want to be covered in shiny fringe all the time always. 📸 by @thehappysnappy

Will do a proper life update soon from all the AMAZING things I've been working on, and all the AMAZING people I've worked with / hung out with, but I'm so so so tired so here's some faces I saw in the sky today.

It turns out that it's really hard to do proper drawings when you're leading the session, but at least I got something down and got some practice in (clearly much needed practice...) Thank you @seeyounakedmonday for having me in for a session and for letting me mess around with some older artworks, giving them a new platform and a new way to reflect on them.

The queen of morphine, bringing the Ab Fab to the Cath Lab has returned home. First photo is me after surgery while still high as a kite asking @petedroogan to 'look at all my friends' 😆😭 Thanks to everyone that sent me messages, visited or held me in their thoughts for the last few days. I wasn't expecting to get rushed into hospital and have surgery, and my arrhythmia hasn't ever been this bad, so feeling a bit shell shocked and now spending some time in bed away from the world. Having so many health issues, it all feels quite scary and overwhelming and medicalising and isolating and lots of other stuff. Without getting super sentimental and gushy- I feel so loved by so many chosen family, both my dads, friends, colleagues; i have so much great stuff in my life and our health care system is pretty amazing. I've been so looked after and was able to access surgery so quickly, and will continue to have check ups, which is just not the case around the world. Give your pals with poorly hearts a big hug ❤️

Reflections on hospital and medicine and my heart and everything so far is that I'm finally accepting I need to be here, the staff are all incredibly nice so far and that you can order pizza to hospital. I'm sick of being attached to machines but I love the view from the window. I want to go back to work and I'm sorry to everyone who I've cancelled / will be cancelling plans with. I feel really overwhelmed by everything and also by the amount of incredibly lovely messages and offers of support I've had. I almost can't cope with the crushing weight of the love because I'm not used to needing help. Thank you to everyone who's been so kind. Hoping to be back on my feet very soon.

The most inspiring trip to a completely unique, beautiful, humble, ambitious and life changing place. This building, its custodians and friends have given me so much to think about. Thank you to the E-WERK team for your hospitality, for opening up your vision to us and for sharing so much in your journey. I implore you to visit this place and see for yourself. More thoughts when it's mulled over a bit in my tiny brain, struggling to comprehend what I've experienced at this magical place. Ready to bring this back to Leeds maybe? Hope so.
