For this 1960 home kitchen remodel, the clients wanted to honor the mid-century roots so we partnered with @cwwnw to match the original mahogony molding. They milled a custom profile for us and we think they nailed it.

Things we find when fine-tuning the framing on 100+ year old homes: Rent receipts from 1927 and sagging floors. Our goal is to make the home last for another 100 years and be way more efficient.
We were putting the finishing touches on this kitchen renovation just in time to welcome a new baby home. Increased prep surfaces, improved flow, and upgraded storage create a highly functional setting for cooking and gathering—balancing beauty with everyday performance.

As we jump into a new year I’m reflecting on the great things our team has accomplished. We took this photo towards the end of 2024 on field trip to the Gorge to see a few great projects being built by @gunter.scott with @don_tankersley_co in Hood River and another designed by @janke_architecture , built by @shookben in Mosier. I love this group, and feel so fortunate to have the privilege of such fine people willing to work for me. Everything we do is a team effort, and this is a damn fine team!
We just wrapped up a kitchen and bath remodel that reimagines this 1940s home for modern living. Thoughtful design makes every inch count, while walnut cabinetry and blue retro-inspired laminate bring a mix of warmth and playfulness to the kitchen. The orange #FlauiTile adds a little pop to the bathroom.

Paint and landscaping are complete on our Ladd Addition project. This historic restoration demanded thoughtful attention to detail to revive the home’s character after years of wear.
