2025 on film: santorini daydreams (honeymoon pt 1) ⛲️🐈🌀
santorini was the softest landing place for the start of our honeymoon that we weren’t sure would even happen. we spent the first few months of 2025 scrambling to get Dusty’s documents + passport updated in the face of intense anti-trans discrimination and unlawful executive orders. we didn’t know if it would be safe or possible for us to travel after our wedding. after months of stressful paperwork, appointments, and anxious waiting, we were so grateful Dusty’s passport came back in tact, while that was not the case for may in our community. the intensity leading up to our wedding and the political backdrop of it all made it feel even more like a safe haven of celebration and joy. we were able to have the honeymoon of a lifetime all with the support and generosity of our nearest and dearest, what a gift! since then, times have gotten even more dire and dystopian, which makes the practice of hope and joy feel all the more important as we are all fighting for the right to live and love without fear. love you 🩵

the best gift this year was finding out i’m going to be an auntie!! baby E is healthy and growing more every day. we are so excited to enter a new chapter with our growing family 🌱😍
5 months ago I woke up married to the love of my life after throwing the most magical celebration of love and community. I look back on these photos and can’t believe actually we pulled this wedding off after months and months of DIYing the cinematic universe to life, all with the help of our loved ones. we are so lucky!!

a literal dream come true ✨☁️❣️this year, @ajmakesmagic and i set off on the adventure of a lifetime together looking like cake toppers when we got hitched at the Mercury Cafe surrounded by our favorite people. a year of planning, scheming, sweating, sewing, sawing, painting, asking and receiving, all for this magical night 🪡 🦢🪚every single moment felt like a movie, like we were starring in our very own indie rom com ⭐️📼 none of this would have been possible without the talented hands and generous hearts of so many of our friends and family. we are so lucky to be in community like this ☘️ so excited for the rest of our lives and can’t wait to share more with you 💘 xo
