Was such a legit honor for me to feature on the new
@woeisme track Odd Behavior! I really can’t thank these dudes enough for allowing me to do this with them 🥺
A couple of fun facts that make this whole thing awesome for me personally:
1. There is so much history between Woe and Issues, it made doing this that much more special imo. There were falling out’s and diss songs and more falling out’s and rekindling’s. From 2012 all the way up to 2024 when
@therettes joined me and the
@issues boys for our farewell shows in Atlanta, there was always something going on lmao what a roller coaster
2. When I was writing the lyrics for my part on Odd Behavior, I couldn’t help but keep thinking back to one line my boys/one of the literal best heavy bands around (
@mugshotca ) wrote and how well it went with what was in my head for this part. That line was “making friends with Judas”, from their song “Death Has A Shadow”, but I knew I couldn’t use it without at least shouting the boys out, hence the opening line to my part containing the lyric “Mugshot”
3. I recorded the vocals with my boy
@itsalmasi , and while I had the general vibe of what I wanted for the ending breakdown, I couldn’t figure out a way to navigate it without getting in my head about whether it was cheesy or not. Cam literally said “bro just do the gutturals. Don’t even say words. Just do gutturals and then I’ll play it back and just trust me”, so I did and he was literally laughing in the best way after I did the take, so we rolled with it lol I was worried about whether or not it was even necessary or cool, but Cam convinced me to keep it so here we are
4. It’s fucking
@woeisme in 2025 baby. Like come on now
