Life is crazy cool these days. Took over Tokyo with Tyla with some professional homies, caught the Teddy Swims show engineered by my friend @jtgagarin for @syncronicity.live , made some new friends, reconnected with old ones who happened to be around, made art, experienced art, laughed, ate, sang, danced, and dang did it feel good.

“Playback engineers and programmers are really mix engineers, in my opinion. Artists and audiences often want to hear the track ‘smack’ in the same way as when it’s mastered. A skilled engineer isn’t just dropping the tracks in, but is remixing the material and controlling loudness to create a summed mix designed for large PAs, versus headphones and car speakers. A live tracks session is a total remix of otherwise mastered music, and therefore has the potential for dynamics and impact that are impossible in non-live listening environments. And that’s what really excites me about playback and music direction, creating a sonic experience that’s just larger than life.” - Founder of Syncronicty @ajae.io

After years of serving the touring community through the art of playback engineering, we’re excited to share this next chapter with you. On July 1, 2025, Laura Escudé of @electroniccreatives and AJ Ramirez of @syncronicity.live signed an agreement for the transfer of all touring and playback-related functions and assets from Electronic Creatives to SYNCRONICITY. For 15 years, EC has been executing Laura’s vision of elevating playback and creating opportunities for talented engineers in the touring industry. During this time she has been instrumental in helping playback grow into a recognized field, and EC has helped engineers and artists achieve growth and success. Over the last 8 years, AJ has been a driving force in that vision, helping EC blossom into what it is today. His leadership, passion, and prowess have shaped the company in countless ways. Together, AJ and Laura had the honor of supporting incredible artists throughout the years, from Ariana Grande to Kendrick Lamar to American Idol. Now with SYNCRONICITY, the legacy continues with artists like Tyla, Daniel Caesar, Victoria Monét, Teddy Swims, Addison Rae, Big Sean, Conan Gray, Dominic Fike, and more. We want to take a moment to express our deep gratitude to the artists and teams who have trusted us, the engineers, and the community that has supported us. None of this would be possible without you. Electronic Creatives will continue on as a brand, focusing on MASTERTRACK, music, technology and artist-related educational content, and will refer all tour and gear-related needs to the SYNCRONICITY team. From both of us, thank you for being part of this story. We couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to keep serving in new ways. Please follow @syncronicity.live and direct all playback inquiries to [email protected], and keep an eye on this space for updates. All the best, Laura & AJ

Delayed at LAX heading to CDMX for the final show after a nearly 2 year saga as musical director for @littlebodybigheart . Going through photos and getting sentimental! It has been a complete honor to serve as MD for Melanie, bringing her fantastical world on stage and making it sound big and beautiful and luscious and menacing AF 😈 Thank you for the trust, Mel. More posts soon about the process and the incredible team behind. For now swipe to end for one of the most bone chillingly cool moments of my life

Workspaces as of late. Took me a long long time to realize how the environments we create for ourselves are literal reflections of our minds. Literally! A vibrant space leads to vibrant thoughts. And vice versa. I worked office jobs for a while before making the commitment to music - never quite led to the mindspace that I wanted and found sustainable. Studios and stages for me, thanks.

Just wrapped my 3rd year as music director for the @disneyjrtour - out of all the projects I work on this is the only one with 3 year-olds in the audience, and boy they bring the energy like no one else! It’s awesome to think I’m helping create their first ever live music experience. Projects like this help keep me sane, despite the tedium of thousands of audio files to arrange, and a big domino effect when ongoing changes to the music of the show affect choreography, lighting, video, etc. Doing it for the kids on this one. 🐭 and because it’s technically a @marvel show too and the spidey scenes really kick ass
