I’ve had some of the most beautiful conversations lately. I’m realizing that by showing up willing to be honest and vulnerable, it’s allowing others to feel safe and do the same. In a lot of these conversations though there seems to be a mutual feeling of being “overwhelmed”.
Overwhelmed with our own personal battles while also trying to hold space and empathy for everything we all are experiencing in this world. Even still, there remains a burning desire within us to connect, to find community, and to be heard.
When I opened @auteur.studios I thought I had an idea of what I wanted it to be. A gesture of love, an invitation to feel considered, and a platform to tell our stories. A curated space where creativity and community intertwined. While it is in fact living up to that idea, I am slowly realizing that it is also becoming a safe space for people to have open and honest conversation.
I don’t know what this next year holds for Auteur. But I do know I want people to feel inspired, I want them to tell their truths, and I want people to feel safe.
I want to give a special thank you to @michaeladartois + @claggie for bringing intention and community into Auteur Studios. I think it’s so important to cultivate healthy practice in our lives — I thank you both for leading the way for compassionate communication. ♥️
@puni.petals x @auteur.studios “You Are A Written Sentence”. An evening filled with community, florals, and letter writing.
Grateful for the opportunity to partner with @punikasayshi and bring this event to life. Such a beautiful concept that invoked introspection, connection, and conversation.

@seenlibrary + @auteur.studios book giving.
When I dreamt of opening this space, these are the types of moments I intended to have. I wanted people to feel welcomed, to feel like family, a space where community was encouraged. @seenlibrary is such a beautiful concept. I appreciate and respect @jordanrisa so much — using her platform to bring people together over shared interest and allowing for vulnerability + connection. I believe some of the most selfless things we can do with our time here is to make people to feel seen, feel considered, and to have a voice. Thank you so much for including me and allowing me to co-host such a beautiful and intentional experience.
