Come out Sunday, May 24th, to the historic Vacaville Museum for a special afternoon of music and poetry. I have the honor of being one of the features for the monthly gathering of Voices at the Table.
This will be my first full performance in the town where I spent most of my middle school and high school days, which makes this even more special for me.
For those of you who want to add your voice to the mix, the mic will be open for sharing your talents after the features.
Refreshments will be served and this is free and open to the community.

Today's style is ABABCC. Inspired by my trip to Vacaville today for a poetry event. Having completed middle and high school out there, it was certainly nostalgic and reminder of all that's happened in the last 25+ years

Today was an eventful day and reflective, but not much for writing. And that's okay. I partially reflected on how some days we say less than what's on our tongue to say, some days we keep things to ourselves, and how some days we just enjoy the silence.
Today's style is a Japanese Haiku, a 3 line 5-7-5 rhyme scheme.
