Poetry in Pajamas 2026 at Pinecrest Gardens was truly something special.
Our ninth annual collaboration with
@omiamifestival brought together poetry, music, art, performance, and community in the most magical way — and we are still glowing from the experience.
This year marked our move from Miami Beach to
@pinecrest_gardens , and we could not have asked for a more beautiful welcome from the Pinecrest community. Over 60 young poets signed up for the open mic, and even after the list closed, children were still lining up to share their voices. It was one of the most inspiring moments we’ve experienced in all our years of Poetry in Pajamas.

Pinecrest Gardens and the Banyan Bowl created the perfect setting for an evening filled with imagination, connection, and community.
@afrobeta once again brought their unmatched energy and magic, weaving music and poetry together in a way that made the whole night feel alive.
@theinterknit , created by Karelle Levy, transformed the space with a gorgeous interactive installation and invited families to create alongside them through knitting and pom-pom making with
@kandilandia and
@michelle.balis
The
@madarts_space HoloBoxes elevated the event into another dimension entirely, a quality that made the evening feel transportive and dreamlike.
We also loved having ASL interpreters and the team from
@lemoncitycollective and
@wonderplaymiami creating more accessible ways for children and families to experience poetry together.
A special thank you to
@freeplasticorg and
@ediblesofla for keeping health and sustainability in mind. Big props to
@tutifruti.fl for the surprise live printmaking station creating custom Poetry in Pajamas T-shirts on-site throughout the evening.
