Designing this poster for @riverofgrassdoc was more than a project, it was a love letter to a place that holds so much memory, mystery, and meaning. The Everglades are sacred ground, where everything begins and ends with water.

Directed by Mariana Mendoza (@fig.m ). Set in a monochrome Miami backyard, "Pesada" weaves a haunting visual conversation between Las Nubes’ Emile and Ale, tethered by a fluid thread of cloth. The slow motion intimacy collides with blue duotone overlays of Everglades wildlife—gators, birds, and water—blurring boundaries between the personal and the elemental.

Excited to share this piece I created with @lasnubesband for the track PESADA. While listening to the super heavy song I imagined items on a clothesline slowly moving in the dead of summer, intertwined with freeform movements + South Florida landscape.
