'Towers of Silence' marks some of the first compositions we worked on and sees us experimenting with a mixture of filthy sludge metal, doom metal, free improvisation, and minimalist music, with just a hint of black metal. It was recorded at @whitenoisestudio in Winterswijk and mixed and produced by @marlonwolterink . Limited to 250 copies worldwide, the EP is released by @laybarerecordings 🖤
For the location, we chose @de_volharding_haarlem in Haarlem. This old factory hall, turned DIY art and community center, is close to Haarlem CS, run by lovely volunteers, and atmospheric as hell.
We'll share the stage with some awesome friends we made along the way, all of whom create their own flavor of dark and immersive music:
