The new permanent exhibition Wildfire / Climate / Forests is an immersive, multi-channel audiovisual experience at the World Forestry Center. Presented in three films, it takes on one of the most pressing challenges of our time — the growing, interconnected cycle between wildfires and climate change. It asks visitors: What choices can we make to help break this destructive cycle? Posing that question marks a new chapter for the @worldforestrycenter as an organization focused on inspiring social and policy change.

As the year winds down, we’re reflecting on the trip of a lifetime. This past summer, we spent two weeks on the road, filming across Montana, Idaho and British Columbia, Canada.Huge thanks to @sustainablenw for having us on for these incredible projects. Come visit @jamopdx to see the videos we made with @ikoinokai for their latest exhibit, opening this weekend: “Made with Love, 45 years of Ikoi no Kai”.“The Ikoi no Kai community lunch program has come to embody the concept of keirō 敬老, or respect for elders, to local Japanese Americans. We got a grant! Excited to announce that our film was awarded funding through @regionalarts that we’ll be using to finalize post-production and begin applying to festivals. Thank you to Regional Arts & Culture Council for supporting our film and Allyx’s story!More news to come soon.

We just launched the instagram for our new short documentary, @as.rare.as.i.am.film, coming 2024!I’ve learned so much about filmmaking, directing, cinematography, sound design, preproduction, rock climbing, geology, carabiners, craft services, crash pads, storytelling and collaboration through this project.I am endlessly grateful to @allyxtheus for taking a chance on us. From our first meeting over coffee I knew I wanted to work with you on this project, and it means a lot that you trusted us with your story.Thank you to the crew who donated their time and talent to make this a reality.
