Today was a labor of love. We hiked down into trillium in the snow to get some audio + video for ‘Do What You Want’. Sometimes you have an idea and you just have to follow it to the end, even when you hit road blocks (literally). This is such a special place to us and many of our loved ones. We needed a little of it’s magic for the record.

Sunrise on the last day of a wonderful doc shoot on the Makah Indian Reservation. It was a privilege to meet members of the tribe and hear some of their stories.

We lost our beloved friend and family member Olive this week. I never thought I would have such a unique, loving and hilarious animal in my life, and I feel lucky I had the time I did with her.
Olive, I'll miss you on road trips, your enthusiasm for all bodies of water (but hatred of baths), the way you inserted yourself into hugs between Kendall and I, the way you stood guard when either of us was not feeling well, your majestic fur, your sweet temperament, the way you loved to roll in the grass, how you befriended so many other pups, how you loved me through good times and hard times.
You're gone too soon, but I find peace in knowing we gave you a great life, filled with adventure and love. Enjoy the great ranch in the sky, baby Olive.
