Do men who will propose to you under a meteor shower with a ring that they made with their own hands exist? Well one does, and I'm lucky enough to be his Fiancée! . Jags asked me to marry him under the geminid meteor shower with a ring that he spent 16 hours making! It has a cat’s eye jewel that reacts to light. The light beam slides across the stone as it moves, a phenomenon called Chatoyancy. A more perfect ring for this girl who loves art/science crossovers and cats couldn’t exist. . He told me that @hoopinkai is hosting a meteor shower fire jam, how could I say no to a night of fire under the stars! I had no idea that I was saying yes to wayyy more than that. Thank you @niharikagee and @aditirn_01 for being there for this beautiful moment with us! And thank you Yamini, @hoopwithsupriya , @aniketh_beatbox for helping Jags plan this perfect moment <3 . I overthink and spiral quite often, and the first time it happened after I met Jags, he gave me a speech about how in the vastness of the universe and time; how lucky we are to be alive at the same time, and how we managed to meet each other and also fall for each other. Everything from the big bang to the stone age to random historical events flashed before my eyes. It all converged to the day we met, and I forgot what I was spiralling about! Since then we faced a lot together. We fought for our love and won for life! . The last photo in this series is from the day we met, can you tell we only knew each other for a couple of hours? :’) . Jags, here’s to the rest of our lives, I cannot wait to be married to you!

Isolations + folds: isolations trace the circumference (2πr), and when you fold, you're revealing the diameter passing through it . Chest rolls: one point on the hoop travels across your body tracing a shape called a cycloid, covering a distance of 2πr . Here's what I was drilling in Feb! I keep going through crests and troughs in my poi journey. These moves have pushed me into the next wave! . It'll be five years of poi soon, grateful to this prop for opening up my flow practice so much. Especially double hoops.
