🎨 Now in Galerie Bastide : Arnaud Adami, Romain Bagouet, Dhewadi Hadjab, « Ma part d’eux », until 12 April 2026.
The title reflects the closeness that unites the artists as well as the affinities that run through their works. Each demonstrates remarkable technical mastery of painting, while approaching realism through the use of photography, dramatic lighting, and an intensified use of color.

« Ma part d’eux » from 15th February in the Galerie Bastide!
Three painters. Three friends. Their first exhibition together!
@adamiarnaud@romain_bagouet@dhewadi_hadjab
Inseparable, talented, passionate... They had the chance to come together thanks to the @therapeia.artresidency ! A few months later, what a joy to exhibit them where friendship is celebrated most in the world: Château La Coste, where every artist leaves their mark.
My part of them, is it the friend who recognises himself in those he loves?
The painter who builds himself through his subjects?
The viewer who recognises himself in the works?
We look forward to seeing you on 15 February ❤️

In the work of Arnaud Adami, there is a tactile dimension of the gaze. Painting appears as a privileged means of establishing a link between the eye and the material, thus sensitively approaching, through specific material and
plastic qualities, individuals marked by precariousness and marginality. In other words, focusing on pictorial materials
is a way of translating the concrete reality of the bodies performing these jobs. The flat surface of the painting thus
becomes a meeting place.
On view at our Paris gallery until April 26, 2025.

Opening this week: Arnaud Adami « Scène de Genres »
Opening preview Thursday, March 20th, in presence of the artist
5 - 8 pm

The series of paintings presented at “Scène de genres” highlights the paradox of the bodies of sex workers, both visible and invisible, exposed and concealed. On one hand, the central perspective and theatrical lighting, almost reminiscent of Ribera, emphasize them; on the other hand, the female figure is always absorbed in her reverie or activity (embracing a plush toy, applying makeup, photographing her feet). This alliance of the intimate and the spectacular constitutes a uniquely pictorial issue: the act of retouching a painting, opening the artistic work to endless correction, with the eye and hand almost glued to the smallest details, induces a tactile closeness to the painting while attempting to give it effect. — Elora Weill-Engerer
