“Intentional and Resilience”...
As we celebrate #WorldPRDay, I am honoured to be included in the 2024 #PRPowerList, a groundbreaking initiative by GLG Communications in collaboration with @guardiannigeria , recognizing Nigeria’s top 50 PR and communications professionals in Nigeria and the diaspora. It is truly a privilege to be listed among such inspiring professionals for whom I have the utmost respect.
I would like to thank @omawumio , the team @glgcomms and the jurors for the recognition.

One of my #2025Milestone
My journey in PR began more than ten years ago in the music industry, and although I ventured into the corporate side for new challenges, my passion for the music industry never faded. I continued quietly collaborating with my music family, working with incredible music organisations and artists in Nigeria and around the world.
This year, I joined the Recording Academy as a 2025 member, inspiring a global community of creators and professionals who are shaping the future of music, unlocking some of the most exciting benefits from the world’s leading music organisation.
I am also excited to be selected as a Mentor for the GRAMMY U Mentorship Program 2025/2026, presented by Amazon Music, guiding an exceptional music professional, @andreea.dascalu99 , in Romania as she builds a remarkable career within the music ecosystem.
Thank you, @hernetworkonline , for always supporting me.
I am constantly in awe of the women on this list, and today, I celebrate them and everyone in Public Relations and Communications. Our job is not the easiest, but I wouldn't trade it for any other.
Today is also a day to pledge to keep the profession's values by doing better and being better at my job.
Happy #worldprday

🇳🇬 Nigerian Women in PR (@ngwomeninpr ), the Nigerian hub of the Public Relations Women Foundation (PRWF), has appointed Adaoha Njemanze (@ada_oha ) as President, effective immediately. She will serve a two-year tenure through March 2028. ✨
Njemanze, Founder of NOVVA Media and Communications, assumes the role as part of the organization’s first non-founder executive leadership team — a landmark transition that signals a new chapter in the growth and institutionalization of Nigeria’s foremost community of female PR professionals.
As President, she will provide strategic oversight and direction for the organization’s next phase of growth, leading a five-member executive team spanning agency and client-side practices, as well as private- and public-sector experience.
#InHerWords On her appointment: “I have always been a strong advocate for Nigerian women in public relations, driven by a deep admiration for their remarkable work across the industry.
While we must continue to amplify the value of public relations, it is equally important that we remain actively engaged in shaping its future. I am excited about the vision and leadership this executive team brings, and the opportunity to drive meaningful change, strengthen collaboration, and elevate professional standards.”
Njemanze steps into the presidency of an organization that has reached over 12,000 professional women, delivered more than 15 PR Students Summits across tertiary institutions in Nigeria, pioneered the first reverse mentorship program in global PR, and published two editions of the Experiencing PR Book.
Congratulations, Adaoha! 💖👏🏼👏🏼

IWD celebration with Tony Elumelu Foundation.
It was a lovely opportunity to reconnect with others from my time serving as a mentor with the foundation.
This year’s IWD theme resonates deeply with me because I truly believe in giving, whether it’s knowledge, visibility, mentorship, training, or simply time. My mantra has always been that when more women are present in the room, we all rise.
The days of "wait-and-see" reporting are over. At the Nigeria Digital PR Summit, Adaoha Njemanze, Founder of NOVVA Media & Communications, dropped a truth bomb for the industry: In 2026, real-time monitoring and strategic thinking are no longer "plus-ones"—they are non-negotiable survival skills.
The 2026 Digital PR Toolkit:
Real-Time Listening: Information is processed in minutes and consumed in seconds. If you aren't monitoring live, you've already lost the narrative.
Content Versatility: From snackable clips to deep-dive long-form, practitioners must be masters of every format.
SEO Integration: PR and Search are now inseparable. If your story isn't searchable, it doesn't exist.
Advanced Metrics: Move beyond "likes." 2026 is about Share of Tone, Share of Voice, and direct Business Impact.
"Listening is very important," Njemanze noted. "We have to learn to stay listening and monitor in real time... people are consuming information in seconds."
Is your PR strategy fast enough for 2026? Let’s talk about the shift from reporting to real-time orchestration below!

I could write a whole book about last year, but this year, I've been reminding myself that baby steps help you find your rhythm. So, I can now say “happy new year” more subtly as I ease into the year.
So…Happy New Year 😁
