Art inspired by tradition and handmade plant-based skincare inspired by nature 🌸... that's what @ecobites.mai and @ada.siya will share with us at Storya Festival on May 9!😍 In their own words: 🫶🏻 Hudda is a multidisciplinary artist based in Munich, focusing on body art and illustration. Her roots are in Palestine, where she spent most of her childhood and developed a strong connection to her culture. Grounded in her Palestinian roots and shaped by her life in the diaspora, she developed a deep commitment to preserving artistic and cultural heritage. This is reflected in her work, which is heavily inspired by the nature she grew up with in Palestine and the patterns and traditions of the SWANA region (Southwest Asia and North Africa). 🫶🏻 Mai is an interdisciplinary researcher and founder of Ecobites, currently based in Munich. Her work explores the interconnection between human health, environment, and agriculture, shaped by her upbringing close to nature in Palestine and her deep connection to plants and traditional knowledge. Through Ecobites, she translates this perspective into botanical skincare, creating products inspired by nature and guided by care for both people and the planet. Catch @ecobites.mai and @ada.siya at Storya!🥳 Support our artists at Storya Festival! 🌸 May 9, 2026, Saturday ⏱️ 12:00 - 19:00 📌 MUCCA Munich, Schwere-Reiter-Str. 2, 80797 München ✅️ BUY YOUR TICKETS TODAY - Link in bio. Only 20 EUR 🥳 Including: live performances, kids' creative corner, co-creation of artwork at the event with an artist, and many more! 🎁 Kids under 8 enter FREE. Thank you for supporting our cause! Hudda Salama is a multidisciplinary artist in Munich focusing on body art and illustration. Her roots lie in Palestine, where she spent most of her childhood and developed a strong connection to her culture. Growing up between two worlds and shaped by her experiences in the diaspora, her desire to contribute to art and cultural preservation deepened. This is reflected in her art, which is strongly inspired by the nature she grew up with and the patterns and traditions of the SWANA region (Southwest Asia and North Africa) In light of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the artist chose to change her original display, to highlight the forced starvation and ethnic cleansing the people of Gaza are being subjected to. A Palestinian Tatreez/cross stitch olive branch, adorned with Hungarian cross stitch lilies on both ends, for Kingi. This was designed as a solidarity tattoo for an ally, and I love how we managed to connect both cultures. Obsessed the result, hit me up for more ornamental ideas & projects like this 🫶

I had the pleasure of designing and tattooing this on @saigedanyluk and I love how it turned out. Thank you so much Saige for the cool project and for sitting so well. I’m very interested in doing more of these creatures and will be posting some flash designs of them soon, but you can always hit me up with your ideas.

I met Lena a couple of years ago at a studio art show and she‘s been a big supporter and special client ever since. She was the first to buy a couple of my art prints and even encouraged me to raise my prices, paying double of what I was asking for. She came about a year ago to get the first tattoo done, and yesterday we added the second one. I love the fact that my clients feel like a community to me, and I’m very grateful for your trust every time. If you know me, you know how much I love to talk about female rage and female pleasure, in that order though.

First time playing around with Henna in a while and in love with how it turned out. This is how a natural Henna stain should develop, and slowly darken over the first few days. 1st slide: 3rd day 2nd slide: 2nd day 3rd slide: 1st day
