A highlight was the recent visit to a primary school in Hackney with @maggiembaird & the brilliant @supportandfeed team, & @therealdalevince rapidly growing @ministryeco - the full school shared ideas on sustainability, ate a fantastic plant based lunch together (cc: @fgrfc_official ) & provided so much evidence that the future can be better than the present. Our @act1.5_ project has been working on the design of a clean power legacy for the world leading @massiveattackofficial show on Bristol Downs in 24. Developing an infrastructural plan in partnership with @bristolcouncil @westofenglandcombinedauthority & @ecotricity X @grid_faeries , & working with pioneers in the battery & green hydrogen area including our friends at @zenobe_energy @geo_pura @greenerpowersolutions we’re going to create an unprecedented clean energy & charging hub to decarbonise a summer festive season & film & tv productions.

We can all agree that maturity, independence of thought & meaningful leadership are pretty scarce in British politics. This decision - a national first - from our Clean Power Hub pilot partner Helen Goodwin (Mayor of @westofenglandcombinedauthority ) shows all three. We all know that, as with all of the biggest challenges, we only get out of the #climatecrisis by working together. Acts like this give belief that those objectives can be achieved, for the benefit of all. Let’s hope it starts a trend. @bristolgreenparty

During #COP30 @massiveattackofficial will play a special show in partnership with the indigenous peoples movement of Brazil, & the G9 Amazonian nations community > supported by Brazilian icons Max & Iggor Cavalera. The artists will work to support the demands of the indigenous groups, that their integrity & wisdom be heard in the meetings rooms of the climate conference.

Brilliant day in Hackney last week, talking to school kids about sustainability and food with my new friend and kindred spirit @maggiembaird (and her charity @supportandfeed ). A seriously good (and outdoor) lunch of Forest Green Kitchen hot dogs and spicy plant balls, plus spicy cauliflower wings from Support + Feed. Great chats with the kids, all super switched on…loved it….:)
