It’s Friday (yay) 💥💥💥 Here’s what’s on the agenda this weekend (May 15):
🎸 Saturday AM: @therockandrollplayhouse Presents GOLDEN — a K-Pop Kids Party at @brooklynbowl (doors 10:30, show 11).
🍔 Followed by a pilgrimage to @skinnylouie.burgers , which just opened on the UES. My son is smash-burger-obsessed and I know will love this one.
🎨 Art week is finally here — @tefaf at @parkavearmory (the period rooms alone are worth the price of admission) and @friezeofficial at @theshedny . Both worth a wander.
🍓 Sunday: the @brickchurchnyc Annual Strawberry Festival on 92nd Street at 12:15pm. They shut down the block for live music, shortcake, and kids’ activities. Truly the most adorable hour of the year.
🚠 And with this weather (76° Saturday, 86° Sunday — hello summer), my kids are finally getting their @rooseveltislandtramway ride. We may also hop the @statenislandferry for a free little boat ride. ☀️🗽
The perfect Sunday outing: @thebrantfoundation ‘s Keith Haring Exhibit is pure color, energy, and joy—and my kids loved it. Runs through May 31, so go while you can 💥 such great things to do with kids pre/post: run around at the playground at nearby Thompson Square Park, followed by lunch at @carnitasramireznyc@hanoi.house or @momofukunoodlebar
