Playing some records whilst making jcards for a new @bisonrecs release from The Sprigs that may or may not turn up today intime for the OTO record fair tomorrow. Stuck in the mail jam but what to do ey. Keep folding and hope for the best really!!
Either way I'll be playing records with @malvernbrume tomorrow night after the OTO fair. Expect what Jackson so kindly calls 'Pure English Horror' lol, ie folk music from the British Isles and medieval mood musick. Free entry and a solo from Steve Beresford too. Come for the fair and stay for the tunes. Food from @allnationsveganhouse

OTO releases Mica Levi's "star star star" today in collaboration with @curlrecordings and @qujunktions .
The collection debuts 7 new works developed over the recent months by Mica and a working group of performers during a residency at OTO. Using written text instructions, speech rhythm techniques and visual cues these pieces are open to players with no previous musical experience, and incorporate elements such as spoken word, light and movement.
Sadly we can't launch it tonight but these are available in print from OTO and digitally on CURL today, and hopefully the pieces get performed sometime soon. Has been really great to work on these xxx
3 baby swallows nearly fledged in dads kitchen. The proud parents did some cute aerial displays while we had lunch today. Swallows have lived with him for over 20 years, the sky was full of them today
