Aeonesis No.2, No.3 and No.1 in my current solo exhibition @office_impart .
It took almost 9 months from sketch to completion. I hand-carved the original model, then transformed it into bronze and acrystal in collaboration with @kunstgiessereialtglienicke . A humbling journey, embodied knowledge, practice, co-existence, all is one.
“In his new body of work, Aeonesis proposes a vision of co-existence in which technology and nature no longer mirror each other as binaries but resonate as parts of the same continuum. Its works offer speculative artefacts of a shared evolution — a new garden of atopia, neither utopian nor dystopian, but emergent.” (text by @dia_mond_rf )

“Einzelne Fragmente, aus ihrem ursprünglichen Kontext losgelöst und in neue Beziehungen gesetzt. Schichten und Oberflächen, die sich übereinander schieben und überlagern. In der Ausstellung SHIFTING STAGES treffen Arbeiten von Aaron Scheer und Berit Schneidereit aufeinander, die aus unterschiedlichen Werkkomplexen beider Künstler:innen stammen. Sie verbindet in erster Linie eine analytische Herangehensweise und das prozesshafte Erforschen medienreflexiver Fragestellungen, denen sich die Künstler:innen aus verschiedenen Perspektiven annähern. Vor unseren Augen bauen sich komplexe Bildwelten auf, die fotografische und malerische Spuren sichtbar machen. Gleichzeitig entziehen sie sich jedoch einer eindeutigen Lesbarkeit und werfen Fragen nach der Konstruktion von Bildern auf.“

In Aeonesis, Aaron Scheer explores how our sense of self is transforming in an age shaped by artificial intelligence and technological acceleration. By turning AI-generated sketches into hand-crafted bronze reliefs, Scheer opens up the AI black box. The results are organic amalgams—relics from a distant yet familiar future. Together with works from his DaNA series, Scheer’s third solo exhibition at the gallery weaves the “natural” with the “artificial, ” placing human agency at its center.
