For this year’s RALLY Festival, artist Anna Howard has been commissioned by Camden Art Centre to create a series of temporary artistic interventions.
Titled ‘Record’, the project spans both the site of the festival and the London Borough of Camden. The first intervention, ‘THE BEST SHOW IN TOWN’ can be seen on BUILDHOLLYWOOD’S billboard site on Highgate Road, opposite The Southampton Arms until 31 August. The second intervention will be revealed at RALLY Festival on 23 August.
On the day of the festival, these two sites are being connected though a guided walk, which will be accompanied by a printed guide and encounters with historic countercultural locations along the way 🗺️
The visual essay ‘A Document of Record ‘ (2025) by Anna Howard and a conversation between Howard and Camden Art Centre’s Public Programme Curator Matt Williams have been released On Demand via Camden Art Centre’s website.
With thanks to RALLY and BUILDHOLLYWOOD.
