it’s been a few weeks since JUNKDUMP 1969 and i’m so proud of how far @junkdumpofficial has come! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us!I just wanted to share this work that I made for the event! My first full sketched out and painted watercolor work for the event including Scraps (junkdump’s mascot hehe)Inspired by 60s Psychedelic Art Nouveauspecifically the cover of “It’s World that Makes the Love Go Round” by Ken Geering, 1968I wanted to create a full watercolor piece, i have just started playing around with watercolors this year and i found out that i really like the medium, this piece took me a few weeks (tho tbh i procrastinated a lot with it ) but i was able to finish it and im super proud of it, it may not be amazing but i like it and hope to improve on my skills!

It will be taking place July 28th 2024 from 11am-5pmAnd YES we know some of you have heard of a special theme we have planned.. and if you haven’t guessed already it’s SUMMERWEEN So consider this JUNK DUMP 2- SUMMERWEEN EDITION !!If you’ve never heard of us, Junk Dump is garage sale vibes but the difference is we will be having a variation of vendors to buy from! took me way too long to post this but with JUNKDUMP2 coming up, i had to pay tribute to the one and only first JUNKDUMP, this event is @junkdrawerlf and my brainchild it was such a cool and fun event, full of amazing vendors and awesome performances by the most talented people! just want to thank everyone that came together to make this possible and thank all the people who came out to support all of us, want to give a big thanks to @brandenconnelley for all of these amazing memories, he caught on film and i’m so excited to see you all again soon for JUNKDUMP2
