🍃GREEN OUT - Now in production!🍃
The story of Seth Bauer, a cannabis dealer with an anxiety disorder and his bold ambitious business partner, Thaddeus Gooch, pushing the boundaries, trying to navigate and balance how much risk is worth their safety given their line of work.
I had the privilege of working with the very talented David Scottie this past week. He brought one of the most notorious characters I’ve written to life, Dr. Brimshaw, a crooked medical marijuana physician. Hilarious guy, adding so much improv to this scene, and helped set a great tone for the rest of production.
Can’t wait to share the final product with everyone!
Over the past year I’ve taken acting classes with Prof. Ted DeChatelet at FAU that have impacted the way I approach everything with performing on camera. I can’t believe I have enough from this class to make an entire reel out of it.
This whole process has not only helped me in front of the camera but behind it and in the writing process, shifting the way I tackle any given scene.
Hope you enjoy! This was really fun to put together and get a birds-eye view of everything from this past year.
Thank you to everyone in my life for sharing another trip around the sun with me. You all helped to show me how to get where I want to go. Ready to do it all again in 2026!
😁
A scene I did from The Gilded Age for my acting class. Had a lot of fun with this.
Very difficult and out of my comfort zone but my scene partner @erialcailuj helped me so much.
Thank you @angeloazar.jr for filming.
Enjoy!
In case you didn’t know, I shot a feature film over the summer! It nearly killed me and had me questioning if I made the right choice pursing filmmaking as a career, but ultimately I realized doing this is when I’m the most present version of myself.
Here’s the first look at our color grade (subject to change and definitely in need of some correction but I got excited when I got it to look like this so I wanted to post).

It always melts my heart that amazing people are willing to gather to produce something I wrote. To my excellent cast and crew, thank you for making this past weekend amazing. We adapted and executed our collaboration of ideas in such an amazing way.
One thing I took away from this film is that actors are a writers best friend. These guys were constantly coming up with brilliant ideas from their perspective as the individual characters. We learned through the rehearsal process that this story, Throwing Weight, is a story about a family that is not genetic. While I was focused on the story from a top down view, this cast was able to bring out elements of these characters I couldn’t have possibly imagined as I was writing.
I can’t wait to share the final product with everyone. Especially our carefully choreographed fight scene expertly coordinated by @securitytraveler .
Thank you guys for an incredible shooting experience.

It’s funny how I started off acting, then got so deep into production that I became uncomfortable with getting back in front of the camera. Couldn’t help but hyper-fixate on all the different technical aspects of our shoot even when I’m not behind the camera. Slowly but surely I’m trying to get my sea legs back with it but while I was editing I couldn’t help but laugh at myself watching it back.

The birds were paid actors.
I already posted my thoughts about this place, but I want to emphasize to have the opportunity to travel and see the other side of the world because of my camera is such a privilege. I get to tell stories for my job and I think that’s so cool. Beyond thankful for all the people in my life. You all know who you are. Thank you.

This trip has been so surreal. Experienced true culture shock and jet lag for the first time. I had some anxiety about coming over here but I’m weirdly kind of refreshed by finding myself comfortable over here walking around and filming. The people and hospitality have been world class, the food is amazing, and the coffee is sensational. Here’s some photos I took from the top of our @airbnb . So grateful to be here with Team Tshilobo. Can’t wait to show you all what we’re working on out here. Swipe to the end to see a rare occurrence of me showing my face on this account.
Everyday I get up and I’m able to pick up my camera and do what I love for work. If you can even call it work. I’m really grateful for the opportunities that have opened up for me in the past six months or so. Here are some photos from the NASCAR playoffs in Homestead. Hope you all enjoy.
