Through different experiences , I’ve learned before life gets really great it’ll seem as if everything is falling apart. My doing and not, but always an opportunity for ownership. When we are juggling so many challenges and wondering why or how are arrived to such a state. Reflect on this: “My brothers and sisters, you will have many kinds of trouble. But this gives you a reason to be very happy. You know that when your faith is tested, you learn to be patient in suffering. If you let that patience work in you, the end result will be good. You will be mature and complete. You will be all that God wants you to be. Do any of you need wisdom? Ask God for it. He is generous and enjoys giving to everyone. So he will give you wisdom. But when you ask God, you must believe. Don’t doubt him. Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is blown up and down by the wind.”
James 1:2-8 ERV
Maybe the trials in our lives can be seen as invitations to regain discipline , focus on what matters most, cut off and prune what leaches, and allow ourselves to be free to grow.
With Christ and a belief it all will work out. It does. I can testify from the living in my car, the yurt, and losses off the mat. It gets a little dark yeah, but sometimes that’s what we need to grow.
Not everyone is going to be with you on your journey the top in whatever arena you are in. With that though we won’t also be part of everyone else’s climb too.
Be joyful in the trials , patient while you work, and faithful that it’s all going to turn around in your favor.
Never lose faith , and never lose heart.
That’s what makes a Champion.

When God places His hand on your life, your past no longer has the final word.
Grace rewrites what failure tried to define.
Walk away from what poisoned your spirit.
Honor the people who showed you grace when you had little to offer.
Move with discipline. Move with conviction. Move with God. Every obstacle, every doubt, every enemy standing in front of your purpose conquer it.
‘If God is for us, who can be against us?’

See yourself as the hunter.
Not just in the wild
but in how you live, train, and become.
Prepare with intention.
Execute with precision.
Provide with purpose.
Refine your craft, but stay rooted in who you are.
Learn from those before you.
Carry every lesson forward wins and losses alike.
Treat those two imposters just the same.
Because you get to go again.
The master hunter was once a novice.
Respect the process. Commit to the adventure.
The goal:
To spend time with Jesus.
To hunt and gather all that I eat.
To forge myself from a novice outdoorsman into a master hunter.
To live in nature.
Comport myself as the champion I am .
To do what I love fully, without compromise.
To go on adventures.
I reflect often on my time in the yurt before the belts, before the lights, before the distractions. There was clarity there. Simplicity. Purpose.
You can reach a place in life where everything you once prayed for is in your hands… and still feel the path become messy. Rocky. Uncertain.
We think stress lives in the struggle when nothing is happening.
But the truth is, success is where we must be the most vigilant.
Because success, unchecked, can become its own addiction.
That’s where faith and discipline come in.
Two tools that bring order back to life.
Two anchors that keep you grounded when everything around you begins to pull you off course.
With success comes many hands
but not every hand is there to build.
Own your failures.
Own your success.
Sometimes relationships fade or fracture not because there wasn’t love, but because you lost yourself trying to carry everything and everyone.
That’s part of the journey.
Not everyone will understand the heart, the sacrifice, the isolation it takes to reach the top. Some will be around, some will even add value but very few will truly grasp what separates those who go all the way.
… and that’s okay.
Let go when you need to.
So you can rise.
Because success isn’t luck.
It’s discipline.
It’s sacrifice.
So to the young man, to the young woman
Do not lose your discipline.
Do not abandon your faith
for a temporary feeling, a failure, or even success.
Stay the course.
And don’t forget to enjoy the simple beauty of this life.
Commit to the Adventure.

We learn from those before us
and from those beside us.
Iron sharpens iron.
A warrior learns to hunt,
to provide,
to be grateful…
then returns to the work.
Commit to the Adventure.
Build. Move. Don’t lose heart.
“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”
Proverbs 27:17 ESV
