Porcelain and brass sconce
Each porcelain shade is finished with a hand painted porcelain slip, this ensures each piece has its own subtle texture and surface variation. This texture can be adjusted upon request. Lights are matched with a custom oxidised brass fixture, also handmade in Melbourne.
Protected with a nano crystal quartz spray. E14 lampholder wired to a terminal, block mounted on the back of the mounting plate and earthed to comply with Australian Standards.

Dollop Porcelain Table Lamp by Fluff Corp., now available in custom Gunmetal Grey.
Inspired by the soft contours of water-shaped stone, its organic form is handcrafted in our Coburg studio from fine porcelain, paired with an 8cm glass diffuser and backing plate.
LED and dimmable, the Dollop can be hardwired or plug-in — considered design with a sculptural edge.

We were recently commissioned by @luchetti_krelle to design and craft bespoke lighting for Hurricane’s Cronulla Beach, Sydney (@hurricanescronullabeach ) — a project that won Silver at the Sydney Design Awards 2024.
The brief called for large, thick-walled lights — where weight was a key challenge. Rather than using ceramics, we hand-modelled, 3D scanned, and 3D printed each piece from upcycled high-density polystyrene — unused offcuts from the building industry that would otherwise end up in landfill.
Drawing inspiration from the beachside setting and the use of oyster shells in traditional lime rendering, we created a custom finish made from sand, oyster shells, and natural pigment.
The resulting lights are eco-friendly, lightweight, and durable, with dimmable LEDs that cast a soft, warm glow.
We love taking on custom commissions that challenge us to think creatively and solve complex design problems.

We’re Fluff Corp. – Jia Jia Chen and Claire Lehmann. We started working together in 2017, curating immersive catering events that celebrated how people come together around objects and experiences. With a shared background in ceramics, our collaboration naturally grew into an object-based practice focused on lighting design.
Each of our ceramic pieces is hand-shaped, glazed, and fired in our Coburg studio, where we experiment with form, texture, and finish. The other lighting components are made in collaboration with local trades and wired here in Naarm/Melbourne to meet Australian standards.
