After years of losing myself in sound, I’m finally stepping forward — not just as a listener, but as a DJ. My name is Schöne, and this is the beginning of me pursuing what I love the most.
I play slow, deep, and textured techno, built to make you dissolve into the moment. Music that wraps around you, creeps under your skin, and holds you there for a while.
I’m inspired by the people around me (thanks Vera for all the tough lessons), and by events like Ratherlost that remind me why I fell in love with this scene in the first place.
To those who already listened, supported, and made me feel seen — thank you. You gave me the courage to share this now.

Schöne about his set and musical journey:
I found techno relatively late (3 years ago) through my roommates, but I truly connected with it during a difficult time in my life. My mind is usually full, but on the dancefloor everything quiets down, that feeling changed a lot for me.
That’s what I try to translate into my sets: space, focus, and a sense of losing yourself completely. Inspired by nights at Ratherlost, I learned how powerful a well-crafted journey can be. A story needs a beginning, middle and end.
For this 3-hour set with Katakombe, I finally had the chance to tell a full story. Inspired by the idea of catacombs, it slowly pulls you deeper and deeper, built on tension and ethereal textures that blur the line between music and environment.

This one isn’t perfect, and that’s exactly why it means so much to me.
The recording from Karman’s last edition has one deck captured in mono, so it’s not a flawless document of the night. Still, I’m incredibly happy with how it turned out, and with the journey we shared together on that floor.
Playing my first gig in a room filled with so much trust, warmth and energy made it everything I could have wished for and more. Thank you to everyone who was there, who listened, danced, stayed present, and supported me on this step forward.

Playing my first gig, surrounded by people I love, feeling that energy move through the room. It was emotional in a way I didn’t expect. Hearing the applause during my set means so much to me is something words don’t quite cover.
I’m deeply thankful to everyone who was there, who listened, danced, stayed, and shared that moment with me. Luckily the set was recorded, and I’ll be sharing it soon, so the feeling can live on a little longer. In the meantime, here are some audio snippets, recorded from the floor.

Time moves forward without pause, indifferent to our longing, our memories, our attempts to hold on. The Clock Does Not Forgive drifts through that space between loss and acceptance, where emotions linger like echoes in an empty room.
Across its three tracks, we explore the fleeting beauty of moments that refuse to stay. Deep ambient layers blur into soft distortion, forming a soundscape that feels both distant and intimate.
As if memory itself were dissolving into air.

The cover is based on my summer holidays when I was a kid. This EP will be part of the "Memories" collection. This collection will revolve around the feeling of nostalgia and the fleeting beauty of time.

Introducing: Schöne
Opening the night, Schöne brings a slow-burning mix of hypnotic textures and vocals made to ease you into the room. His sets move with intention , subtle, fluid, and focused on creating a calm kind of tension you can disappear into.
His connection to techno grew naturally: “Three years ago I knew almost nothing about the scene. Living with fellow djs and especially Vera Grace teaching me how to really listen, changed everything. Techno became the only place where I felt completely silent inside.”
That quiet headspace is what he aims to open up for others, a place to drift, reset, and arrive fully.
The story begins early.
