Amsterdam-based DJ and producer HSOP has steadily carved a space with her stripped-back, tension-driven sound, releasing on respected imprints while performing across key European cities and contributing to the vision of the DONKER label. Now making her debut on Ferhat Albayrak’s Jeton Records, where she presents Boccaccio EP, a release that unfolds across four tracks, moving between ambient drift, dub-weighted space, and driving, stripped-back techno. 

It opens with Dream On, where suspended textures and faint dub traces stretch time and set a subdued, inward tone. The title track Boccaccio tightens the focus, built on minimal frameworks and off-kilter sci-fi details that subtly shift the groove without breaking its flow.

Frenemy cuts through with a more direct approach, driven by a steady, insistent groove that holds tension without release. Closing track Spinster turns inward again, carrying a restrained melancholic charge, where warmth and distance sit side by side, echoing the slow fade of late summer light.

Recently I released on @childrenoftomorrowrecords Connection Series A12 — Various Artists Big thanks for the invite, really happy to be part of this VA. For this release I joined with a more melodic track, but still driving, with a lingering acid sound. Noble Isle came together quite naturally. I was inspired by the magical landscape of the Scottish Highlands and tried to give the track that feeling. The name stuck with me while working on it. 🫰🏻🌱

Back at @seveneight_.78 still thinking about this one✨ I added a few snippets from the set here. The room was super open, people really locked in and reacted to every turn, which made it easy to take it a bit off track at times and push things further. Thanks for the invite and for the energy🫰🏻

Today the Amoeba Remix EP is out. I’m deeply grateful to @jiho @naboklage @zona.interdunar and @medlex.dk for these incredible reinterpretations and for @xelimarecords for made it all happen. Each remix carries its own identity and style, making this release feel truly versatile and beautifully diverse. What makes it even more meaningful is that I’ve collaborated with all of them before. There’s history in this one. @alisondean_design my dear friend, thank you for the beautiful and sick artwork - always a pleasure 🫰🏻 I also contributed a new version myself. Writhing Bodies was the third track I ever produced - I still remember crying from happiness when I finished it.Reworking it wasn’t easy. I had to find a new way to translate something I already felt so deeply. I hope that feeling still comes through.
