This week’s visual art events across the island of Ireland! An absolutely packed week in store! There’s no cost to be featured as we love to mutually support other members of the irish art community. We’re particularly looking for meetups and events outside of Dublin and Belfast (though we love to hear about those too) as we’re really struggling to find many events happening in Connacht and Munster. Even if you don’t personally run the event, feel free to let us know of any fun ones you know of! We love finding new events to support! Print Network Ireland (PNI) are delighted to announce the launch of our printmaking in Ireland map. The aim of this map is to help bring printmaking organisations, groups and students together, to assist in forging future collaborations within the community, as well as visually demonstrating how active printmaking is across Ireland. Included are print studios, print organisations, print groups and regular printmaking workshops providers throughout the island of Ireland. We hope you find the map informative and that it will foster connection and collaboration within the printmaking and the wider visual arts community. The map can be viewed on our website. We're getting excited for The Common Pot a programme of events part of Irish Design Week 2025. The theme of this year's celebration is The Ties that Tie, the Links that Link exploring the legacy of Kilkenny Design Workshops. This led us to assemble a series of talks, workshops and public gatherings to explore how design weaves connections between people, food and culture. We have our designers ready for a two day workshop in collaborative design for Risograph printing.
