💛 Sempre nella giornata di domani, giovedì 28 novembre alle 21.15, non perdete la proiezione di 𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒂𝒓𝒊, cortometraggio italiano del 2023 diretto da Leonardo Balestrieri, in concorso al #FlorenceQueerFestival. La storia di Elia, interpretato da Federico Cesari (@fe_cesari ), affronta con intensità il tema dell’identità e del conflitto interiore. Elia è un giovane che, per mantenere il suo ruolo di “esca” nel gruppo di “cacciatori” a cui appartiene, è costretto a negare sé stesso, sacrificando la propria autenticità. Sailing to Venice! 🥷 I am happy to share the trailer of NERO ARGENTO, my new short film in competition at the 39th @settimana_della_critica within the 81st Venice International Film Festival @labiennale “Lucas, Federico, Giovanni and Letizia are part of a crew of writers and spend their days in a secret forest that stretches along the railway. However, Lucas is uneasy: something threatening is moving in that natural refuge and he is the only one able to sense it.” The film will have its world premiere on 5th September at 13:45 in Sala Perla and on 6th September at 19:15 in Sala Corinto. We are glad to announce that NERO ARGENTO by @francesco__manzato  will be screened in competition at 39th @settimana_della_critica  within the 81st Venice International Film Festival @labiennale Lucas, Letizia, Giovanni, and Federico are part of a crew of writers and spend their days in a forest that stretches along the railroad. This natural place provides a secret refuge for the group, a limbo between childhood and adulthood. Lucas is worried: something threatening is moving in that forest that he alone seems to sense.  At night, when time seems to stand still, an unexpected encounter with a mysterious figure puts Lucas face to face with a cathartic moment. With the first light of dawn, reality shatters the shelter: a world where there’s no escape for wild animals can no longer be eluded. POLITTICOEDU. We are proud to announce that @ilboscodellelepri , final essay of the film workshop “The Rules of the Game”, lead in collaboration with @liceo.archimede.me , @universiteatrali , Cineforum Don Orione and @nutrimentiterrestri , has been selected for the prestigious short film competition @sottodiciottofilmfestival . The Hare Woods will be screened on December, 15th at Sala Ambrosio in Turin. “After criticism of the Italian school system received from a Finnish mother, the principal of a Sicilian high school promotes a pilot experiment. Aided by the influencer Violet, the principal’s two children - the strong - willed Lucrezia and the turbulent Cesare - will discover that the project hides something else. The much talk about the critical issues emerged in experimenting with the Finnish-style school serve to distract public opinion from the agreements made by the principal with an unscrupulous entrepreneur: a shopping center will be built in place of the woods, over the years given under concession to the high school...”

Inspired by real violence against LGBT+ people, Safari follows Elia, a member of a “hunting” group, grappling with self-suppression. Emerging from this annihilation will be lacerating, but ineludible. “I knew that this was going to be a story that unfortunately we can also come across outside a cinema. That’s why it’s still important to tell: this violence is one of the reasons people hide. Safari is the struggle of an individual that reaches the bottom and finds a crossroad: self-acceptance or chocking on his own violence. But not everyone has enough courage or access to this freedom, and without a healthy and nondiscriminatory environment, even when something good comes our way, sometimes we are perhaps not ready to catch it even if we crave it.” Directed by Leonardo Balestrieri
