Nel nuovo film di Lucia Calamaro, Antartica – Quasi una fiaba, il ghiaccio diventa il luogo in cui immaginare un’altra possibilità per il futuro dell’umanità. In questo estratto della nostra intervista, Barbara Ronchi racconta che cosa l’ha convinta ad accettare il progetto: una storia che sfida l’idea di successo imposta dal capitalismo e rimette al centro il senso collettivo dell’esistenza.
Ambientato nella base scientifica più isolata dell’Antartide, il film segue una piccola comunità di ricercatori che guarda al futuro della specie umana cercando ciò che ancora non conosce. L’arrivo di Maria, interpretata da Barbara Ronchi, incrinerà l’equilibrio del capomissione Fulvio Cadorna (Silvio Orlando), dando vita a un conflitto scientifico, ideologico e affettivo.
