One half of DJ duo @hagva_________________________ and a key member of Milan's @evolvere_ crew, @_not_mass_ 's approach to DJing really resonates with us - focussing on deep textures, layered sounds, and intricate drum patterns, which help build immersive atmospheres and keep the journey engaging. "This mix explores weird and experimental drum patterns. I wanted to create a journey through dark and weird rhythms that challenge the usual beat structures and that typically characterize my DJ sets. The drums are always different, sometimes off the beaten path, creating varied dynamics—moments that are upbeat as well as static, trippy moments—giving the entire set a mysterious and intense atmosphere. In my DJ sets, I like to bring together all the music and genres that have influenced and shaped my musical path over time." @_not_mass_ This is the second mix from our series visualised by @jorisvdeinden 's ‘Glass Land’ thesis project.
