first 3 minutes of my performance for the CLEAT series at @elasticarts
in the spirit of multi-channel audio i asked the audience to use a QR code to load a system state I programmed in wax.bz which accesses the built-in accelerometers in modern phones and allows everyone to play their phone like a virtual harp by rotating it
so then i made some slide decks with simple JS/CSS animations and asked everyone to follow along to the slide instructions, treating it like visual musical score & leveraging the chaos of the moment as musical material
eventually i started playing the rest of my set and worked out nicely :)

Friday 5/8 I'll perform on the 16-channel CLEAT system at @elasticarts in Chicago.
I will be live-coding a submix across the CLEAT system while also playing out the main sound system.

Coming off an opening slot for Autechre on their 2025 North American tour, he creates emotionally intense, highly textural abstract electronics at the bleeding edge with no backup. In this performance on the CLEAT system at Elastic Arts, he will be live-coding sonic motion around the speakers using his custom system, Facet, and Max/MSP.

Algorithmic Art Assembly v3.0 was one for the books. Thank you @highpointlowlife for organizing and curating 3 days of inspiring talks, workshops, and performances in San Francisco. It was wonderful to meet so many friends I only knew virtually and to meet even more, and I feel super grateful for the experience.
I’ll likely post again when my full talk and performance become available. Everything was recorded and there are so many others worth checking out!
