In January, spent a week in the UK shooting a story about climate campaigner Sarah Finch for the Goldman Environmental Prize. We also made a quick trip to Stonehenge and the @MuseumOfBritishSurfing

Left my editing and writing hole for a week and headed up to Scotland with @_michellesanders to join @scottish_adventure_film_tour in Glasgow and Edinburgh 🏔️ It’s been awesome to see our film screened alongside so many diverse stories about Scotland’s adventure communities. I’m really proud of how far To Know A Mountain has come since we filmed it in 2023 and I don’t think either of us expected it to resonate with so many people across the UK. For me, it’s seems as though Nan Shepherds meditative prose and teachings from the Living Mountain feel more relevant today than when she wrote them in the 1940s. We also travelled further up the east coast for a new project we’re working on 🌊 #documentary #sony #womeninfilm

2025 has been a journey of spreading our film and message of the Following Nan Shepherd Project ⛰️ Thank you to everyone who came far and wide to see the film on the @alpkit tour! The most fulfilling and purposeful thing that came out of each film showing was the beautiful conversations we had with so many like-minded and inspiring people. We had so much love and support- at moments it was surreal! Alpkit supported our expedition from the very start via the Alpkit Foundation, which we recommend to anyone wanting to start a project or trip to check out. In 2026 there will be further film showings, workshops and more. Keep up to date on our website (link in our bio), where you can also download our toolkit on how to adventure like Nan Shepherd.
