the year I tore my acl but also ran a marathon, skied 30 days, survived a music festival, spoke at a conference, played in my first golf tournament, started a new job, and adventured with friends… guess I’m not planning on slowing down any time soon lol 🫣
Almost one month post-op this week, and I’d say I’m making a pretty solid debut.
Training looks a little different these days, but honestly, I’ve never been more in awe of what the human body can do. Thankful for all of my friends and family who have cautiously and somewhat skeptically supported this “slow” return to “easy” activity lol. Beyond stoked to look back at the progress and even more excited for what’s ahead ✨.

Tore my ACL on a double backy… 😂
Ok, jokes aside — I’m riding the initial post-surgery high and feeling tremendously (and surprisingly) grateful for the journey that’s gotten me here.
Calling off my engagement, canceling my wedding, and moving back to the Bay Area to help my family navigate health challenges two years ago were easily the best decisions I’ve ever made — and it’s safe to say life’s only gotten spicier since.
I’ve never been more grateful for my friends and family, who continue to support me as I push my physical limits — and for every opportunity I’ve had to chase those limits through sport.
There might be a little more complaining and a little less movement over the next 9–12 months, but I’m definitely not done yet.
Catching up with the @giggly.squad girlies in the meantime ✌🏼.
first 70.3 was absolutely wild ❤️🔥
