The place felt contained and alive, like a closed system where small details mattered. Tiny sounds sat in different registers, subtle movement in the dark, layers interacting without ever fully revealing themselves. I carried that sensibility into the set, focusing on slow shifts, accumulation, and fine detail rather than big gestures. It was recorded on an old Tascam, so a soft hiss runs throughout. I kept it intentionally, as a thin framing layer, a kind of faux field recording presence that feels more like humidity or shadow than noise.
