Distance 反射する眼差し is a collaborative project I created with fashion designer Hana Yagi, developed during my 2023 stay in Japan. Working from her garments and her ongoing theme of “repair,” we shaped a story about the ways we try to connect, and the gaps and closeness that appear in the process. The show presents photographs alongside Hana’s costume works and Marie Muravski’s illustrations, together forming an atmospheric, layered, and intimate story of distance.
