I have four areas I want to upgrade on the EK9 over winter. I’ve got ahead of time and carried out one and a half of them already.
Cooling package upgrade and fitting splitter mount brackets.
The half rad I have been running didn’t do a bad job but on track in the summer doing 3 hard attack laps would see coolant temps getting to the upper limits and continue to climb.
I brought Chris old S2000 KOYORAD. Which is actually slightly bigger than a DC2 full length radiator!
I wanted to shorted the current traction bar to allow to addition of splitter mounts so added radiator mounting tabs at the same time.
Also converted the radiator, water outlet and thermostat housing to AN16.
Fabricated a new mounting bracket for the oil cooler.
Relocated the PAS cooler and fitted a new @t7designltd sandwich plate so I could run AN10 lines rather than the old 1/2BSP fittings.
All fittings and lines were of course from @t7designltd
Not only will this improve temperature control it also looks far better. Which is obviously as important.

End of this month will be 8 months since opening. I still pinch myself sometimes. Have come so far but still only just getting started.

Light weight and low power = carry all the speed. Arguably the most fun way to track day.

@rory_vtec was back in this week to redo his chassis setup after he had carried out a essential upgrade on his front Nitron dampers.
He will be on track today for the @tegiwa 20 year celebration.
I did plan to go but I’m just too busy here at work.

@ep3nath dropped his EP3 off for timing chain inspection (in very good shape so must have been done previously) valve clearances, fix and oil leak from the rocker cover gasket, oil and filter change and a visual chassis check.
Couple of areas that need some parts but overall a pretty solid EP3 which is nice to see.
