Help my Aunt Kathy pay for her chemo treatment and medical bills!❣️
My Aunt Kathy has been a nurse for over 35 years, helping people in Michigan, California, New York, and beyond. December of 2024, she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. She had to stop working in order to start her chemo treatments and had to have major surgery in June of 2025 where she was in the ICU for three weeks and the hospital for another week after that. She was able to beat it and started working as a grocery store worker to pay her bills, which she fell in love with.
Within 6 months, her cancer came back and has now progressed and spread to direct organs. Sadly, there is no cure for her current stage of cancer; however, she is starting up another round of chemo to get more time. Due to her doctor’s appointments and treatments, she is unable to work at the capacity she has before and is looking for support to pay for her living costs, medical bills, and chemo treatments.
My Aunt Kathy is one of the kindest, most full-of-life people I have ever met. She constantly puts others first and has helped so many in their time of need. If you have the means, please consider donating or please share this link with people you know.

This photo series is dedicated to celebrating and amplifying the stories of inspiring lesbians in Chicago. Through powerful portraits and personal narratives, Lesbians on Top seeks to authentically capture the diverse, vibrant voices that make up our community.
I had the pleasure of taking some photos of Madi (she/they) @madisonmaeparker Madi is a somatic educator, ritual artist, performer, and writer who centers the body as a source of wisdom, creativity, and transformation. Their work weaves together movement, spirituality, storytelling, and fashion; approaching style as both a creative and devotional practice.
Madi creates spaces for individuals and communities to reconnect with themselves through somatic sessions, collaborative rituals, and intentional gatherings. Their practice is rooted in the belief that we are always evolving, always arriving more fully into who we are.
Coming out later in life during the 2020 quarantine, Madi’s journey has shaped a deep commitment to self-discovery and embodied truth. After a challenging period of mental and physical health in recent years, their work now reflects a celebration of resilience, adaptation, and the ongoing process of becoming.
