Athens Recap! 🇬🇷✨ We’ve just returned from an intense and inspiring three days at the Reset! 2026 General Assembly and Forum @reset_network . Gathering more than 70 members across Europe, the General Assembly was an opportunity to reflect on how we can better connect practices across Europe, while the Forum had the objective to explore how to push digital independence in today’s media and cultural landscape. Through interactive workshops, working groups, presentations, and performances, we reaffirmed the network’s core values, emphasizing the importance of a shared language and creating meaningful bridges with local authorities. Together with @forevergreenfm and @parsec.bo , we kickstarted a new working group on Local Public Authorities building on the results of Meet!Reset Event that took place in Genova last November, and on the entrance of the Municipality of Genova, @comunedigenova , in the network (more on that soon!👀). The following day, alongside @axolot.cat and @paikka.xyz , we contributed to an exciting Live Coding Demonstration. At the Forum, our founder Ludovica took part in a radio programme on digital ethics, where conversations about AI, big tech and cultural practices took center stage. 🫶 We are deeply grateful to everyone who made the event possible and to all the people we had the pleasure of meeting. What do you expect when attending collaborative events? What comes to mind when you hear the word “co-governance”? We asked these questions to the participants of the MEET Reset! event held at Palazzo Ducale in Genova in November, facilitated by Flumi AC, organized with @forevergreenfm and @parsec.bo , funded by @reset_network . The answers highlight a strong willingness to create synergies between diverse actors – independent cultural organizations, creatives, and representatives of public administration – within a logic of sharing, community, and joint practices. 💭 Through exercises of speculative design and collective imagination, Flumi AC co-organizes events aimed at fostering horizontal connections between policymakers and representatives of the independent culture, seeking practices of collective research and negotiation. 🤝 Via Flumi Studio and Flumi Labs, this same methodology becomes available as a consulting service: grounded in the expertise of a curated network of professionals, for institutions and organizations that want to make collaboration a real practice. Building long-lasting networks, redefining the concept of civic and cultural alliances, and moving beyond the traditional divide between public and private are key objectives for Flumi. Our goal is to build spaces where cultural organizations and institutions could meaningfully confront each other and dive deep into the structural issues that emerge when speaking about alliances and shared agreements.
