🧼 Felipe Chavez as Joey 🧼
Felipe Chavez is a London-based actor originally from Colombia, where he was born and raised before moving to the UK 13 years ago. His creative path began in fine arts, where he built a career as a figurative painter. Working primarily with Indian ink wash, he creates intimate self-portraits that explore the male form, identity, and his relationship to sexuality and space. His work is rooted in honest self-examination and a curiosity about human behaviour and belonging.
His work has been exhibited internationally, with a strong presence in both the United States and the UK. He has shown work in exhibitions and art fairs across the USA, including in cities such as Los Angeles and New York, won UK prizes with the Royal Society of Painters in Water Colours, and has work held in private collections around the world.
He came to acting in 2025, bringing with him a strong visual and emotional sensitivity shaped by his background in painting. Since then, he has worked across a range of screen projects, including global brand commercials, short films, music videos, and independent feature films. His work as an actor is driven by a continued interest in people, introspection, and truthful storytelling. Felipe continues to train regularly alongside his work.
