As a chronically ill, disabled, neurodivergent, and gender-divergent first generation American from a family of Vietnamese refugees, they explore Western bio-politics and epigenetics, Southeast Asian diaspora, post-war intergenerational suffering, relational ecologies of interdependence, and the concept of metamorphosis. thái’s body is under immense stress as they continue to experience chronic infections, severe allergic reactions, and persistent fevers while facing unsustainable ongoing medical costs. They currently need to raise funds for medical bandages, new immune treatments and medications that are critical to their survival, and to maintain access to their healthcare. asking y'all with my bleeding heart to keep each other safe from having to return to face violence. since sharing this request, many (mostly) from Black and Brown and disability community passed it along. unfortunately, these hyper-marginalized communities are the least likely to be able to support in material ways (despite always showing tf up) due to poverty and the hostile battle against oppression. she has received $100 in over a month...that is not enough to get her a mobility aid she needs to be able to safely walk and work. that is not enough to keep her housed. we must be really honest abt what we are able of... can we make adjustments in our own lives and with our own resources to keep a vulnerable Black comrade protected? rent is due in a matter of days and reparations are long overdue. pls drop 5+ words below : ur go-to pasta and what u like abt it v/c: @ godcanyon pp: [email protected] image description coming by @rachhparr
