I feel so lucky that the amazing photographer Martin Baker @overwroughtirony spent time taking photos of myself and this wall. He captures the world in a poetic and liminal way, and he's also fearlessly down to jump on a lift three stories high. Here are a few favorites of mine🌻
"Are You Okay" for DoMo Walls in Modesto, California / October 2023
I don't often have the opportunity to paint vertical walls, so when DoMo Walls gave me this one as a last minute option, I ran with it. Based off of an older canvas of mine, "Are You Okay" is about how we all go through tough times in life, sometimes quietly. We may be blooming while others are wilting, or vice versa. A gentle reminder to check in on our loved ones.
Plus sunflowers are my favorite flower. Had a blast painting them four stories tall 🌻

"Familiars" for Waterford Walls in Waterford, Ireland / August 2023
I love this mural, both for how it turned out and for the time it reminds me of. Going to Waterford was one of my all time favorite trips. I met so many incredible artists, some of whom are now my best friends, and so many wonderful people who call Ireland home. Aside from painting I took some time to adventure around the country, going to some of the most breathtaking hillsides, cliffs, and oceans I've everrrr seen.
Cannot thank @waterfordwalls enough for having me! I look back at this experience with starry eyes and a heart full of joy 🌠
