I am so proud of how this song captures both the chaos and clarity that comes along with big changes. The moments of solitude I experienced in the earlier part of last year were excruciating, until all the sudden, then were peaceful. I hope you hear that glimmer of hope and see yourself in it.

I wrote this song about the process of reflecting on a season of life, beating yourself up for wasting it, but then ultimately realizing that nothing is wasted. And sometimes you just end up on the shower floor with a glass of wine š but then la la la life goes on.

The message of this song and video are simple but hard for me to internalize: As we are exposed to new people, places and experiences, we pick up little pieces of them as we go. Itās our choice how we decide to integrate these pieces into our life. Sometimes we take on a new identity entirely, but Iāve learned that comes at a cost. There is a subtly and beautiful way that we can carry these pieces with us without fully becoming them.

When I started writing this song, I wasnāt really in the best headspace. I was struggling greatly with my sense of self worth and honestly, I was ready to throw my phone off the balcony. Sometimes, thereās just too much information (and marketing) being thrown at us every single day. No hate to my influencer homies of course š«¶š½ but we all need to re-center our lives outside of these little mobile devices sometimes. I brought the song to @pterodactyl.tom half baked and unsure if it had legs, but he caught onto the concept so quickly and we ended up co-writing this little gem to completion āØ
