A Brief History of the Future PBS Documentary Series @untold_la 6 months of travel 9 cities/states 10 road trips 13 countries 30 plane rides 34 hotels 71 interviews / characters / group scenes 159 TB of Footage “The world will tell you that a particular type of profession is equivalent to certain success, while the heart will tell you what you’re really meant to do, where you’re actually meant to be investing your time and life. The world will tell you that steadiness is the equivalent to strength, but the heart will tell you it is the courage to feel, to process, to no longer hide deny or run - is most indicative of character. What we consider to be the lows are very often the opportunities for our greatest pivots, and change. What we consider to be our losses turn into our greatest and most profound gains. What we consider to be the ends are very often the beginnings.” - Brianna W.

Spent the day cooking some of North Africa’s most classic dishes with a local Moroccan family. 🇲🇦 We hit a local fresh market in a neighborhood where tourists don’t usually go, and when I say fresh, I mean we watched a live chicken get pulled from its cage, weighed, and well, you can imagine the rest 😅. We cooked: - Lamb tagine with sweet raisins - Salty chicken tagine with olives - Couscous with lamb & veggies - Moroccan spiced meatballs with egg It was all so good and the mint tea was the perfect finish to every meal. By the end of the trip we’d eaten so much chicken tagine, we couldn’t even look at it anymore 🤣 This was one of the most authentic experiences I’ve had, cooking with a local family and getting a true taste of Moroccan culture. Highly recommend 🙌
