[ #thesplitfilm ] International Premiere 🔥
How do we navigate our minds passions and purpose in a time of crisis?
Split follows the physical and mental journeys of best friends Tom & James - both environmentalists and both airline pilots - as they embark and reflect on a remote splitboard expedition in Greenland.

[ #thesplitfilm ] Split Premiere announced!
Another multiyear project, this one was a huge challenge for Director @_charlotteworkman_
❄️ The expedition - physically demanding, technologically frustrating and mentally profound.
✍️ The story - unfolding, nuanced, delicate and personal.
🎞️ The production - a labour of love, sweat and tears with piles of storyboards and coffee stained mind maps.
We are so proud that the time has come to finally share this story, and we couldn't think of a better place to premiere than the 20th anniversary of @sheffieldadventure film festival in March 2026.
A very cool festival in the heart of the Outdoor City that does so much in supporting authentic filmmaking 🙌 fostering good vibes and community spirit. We are honoured to be one of the few feature length films selected.
We’ll be there along with the two protagonists Tom and James to personally release the film into the wild, engage with the themes covered and see if anyone laughs at Tom’s jokes.
Join us to kick off the Split film tour once and for all! 🍻

[ 🇬🇧 ] B r i t a i n | Jamu 🫶
This last year we've been busy editing 🎬 and not able to travel quite as much. But this has allowed us time to dog sit - how bonnie it has been to meet Jamu! 🐶
We've looked after her 4 times this last year - 5 months altogether. A rescue who takes a long time to trust, and then forges a deep bond. It's been so nice to delight in her details, see the world through her curious eyes and join her in the ever present moment. She's brought to light my own profound urge to nurture which was interesting. I'll miss this little poocho mucho.
~ wee poem ~
I love the circles!
in your brown soulful eyes
In your soft curly tail
Always going clockwise
The little ones you tap
Before finding the perfect spot
Your coat is a tapestry
Of freckle, stripe and dot
Reunion with your humans
I'll miss you little friend
Like a circle neverending
Our time will come again!
[ #findmòrfilm ] Premiere and award-winner! 🏆
We’re thrilled and honoured to announce that Find Mòr will have its international premiere on home turf at Fort William @mountainfestival next month 🏴 and its even been awarded the John Muir Trust Wild Places Film Prize 👐🏼
Three years ago, when we started chatting about bringing this little passion project to life with our pals, one of those distant ‘wouldn’t it be cool if’ dreams was to have our film selected for a festival. To sit in a cinema, sharing and reliving some wild adventures with old friends and new.
As debut filmmakers, we’ve been on a crazy rollercoaster of learning and we owe a huge thank you to the canyoning community (especially @dalestrang_nl@georgeyatescanyon & @v7bencase ) and all who have supported this project from the beginning.
Let’s kick this thing off with a bang! 🍻

High pressure AND waves? 🌊🙌 cannae beat it. A few opportunistic shots when I wasn't in there myself burning the backs of my retinas #vitamincannaesee
[ 🇬🇱 ] G r e e n l a n d | Endure
Life is so simple on expedition. It’s hard, sure. But it’s simple. It's easier to endure in that situation I think, because there really is no other choice. And so there is acceptance, equanimity and ultimately peace. A beautiful, purposeful peace and - in Greenland - that's emphasised with the vast landscapes. I miss those landscapes.
So when work / life at home is challenging, I’m trying to channel the simpleness. Making the Split film is way more challenging than dragging a heavy sled 200 hundred miles. There are so many elements, story threads, ideas and places it could go. So, it’s one step at a time on a meandering path. I'm getting there, slowly but surely. Thank you for your patience, I can’t wait to share it with you 🙏

Exploring one of the most popular places with not a person in sight - we followed the water that falls from Bidean nam Bian👌 In a glen we‘ve travelled a thousand times this was a nice, fresh new way to experience it 🚿

👉 Event! 👈 Fri 16th August, Dunbar, Scotland
Looking forward to sharing a space with some amazing women! 💃 I'll be offering my two pence on lessons learnt / learning (always learning!) in a life of adventure photography & filmmaking 🌊
It's going to be a great night of campfires, discussions & inspiration whilst raising money to empower women mountain guides of Nepal 🙌 Only 10 days away!
In reflecting on what I can offer at this event, it has clarified my thinking on why I am where I am. What have I learnt from the extremes that I can bring back to the tribe?
It. Has been. Illuminating 🔥
I'm excited - and nervous! - to share...
Expect tales from the arctic ❄️ and camping in the boot of my young self's car 🚙

“Never meet your role models”
I'm glad that's not true. Because when we met I found there was so much more to learn from you than your skill to capture light.
Rope prowess, mobility and speed in the canyon were matched with what it means to be a solid teammate, mentor and friend.
You see the beauty in canyons and the adventure because you, yourself, are a beautiful soul. Nothing ever disappears, it only transforms. So you exist still - in my heart and everyone's who was lucky enough to meet you.
You live in the canyons.
Your raucous laugh in the roar of a waterfall, your soulful eyes in the glint of sunlight on a canyon wall, your cheeky grin in the curve of rock and your softly spoken wisdom flowing easily through pebbles and round bends.
Beyond the canyon you helped me with my own doubts. You supported me and treated me like an equal. I wish I could have helped you, Gus. We had great plans. I hope you have found peace. I believe that you have. And I will try to carry that peace with me too.
I look up to you forever and always. See you in the next canyon, brother 💙🙏

[ 🇬🇧 ] E n g l a n d | Happy splashy!
This shot I’m about 80% smile, 20% grimace from holding onto a 6mm rope, in the flow, mid abseil 😅 PAIN IS GAIN as @_kronie_ said 🤘 She snapped this one in the Doe canyon during the first ever @ukcanyoning symposium this weekend. So fun to meet the canyon community and explore some of England’s best canyons & caves 💦
… Strap in …
It may not look like it, but for those few days I was struggling with the fun new challenge of depression & anxiety. It has developed over the last year and a half (since returning from the Greenland expedition), it strikes at weird moments and robs me of being wholly present. I’m all good, grateful for where I am, and figuring it out. But right here, in this moment, being with my pals, in the water and on a rope, I was genuinely stoked to be there (even with the hand pain) 😊
I don't share much of my personal stuff - everyone's got life going on - but I'm learning it's good to share, not just for me, but for those who can relate 👊 life's too good to ignore your mental health. Fix it like you would your body 🙏 because there's a whole world out there, and I am not finished with expeditions in gnarly places with awesome people 💚
