I’ve been told I live in the past. But I’m really just trying to live in the 80s, which ironically is like living in the future. I’m either ahead of the curb in fashion, or way behind. Either way, I don’t think I’m fitting in.😉 #rugbyshirt #80sfashion #nasvillemodel #tribeon

Yesterday I pretended to play DiscGolf where I also pretended to throw out my shoulder. My fake wife drove me to the ER. A fake receptionist guided us to a room where a fake DR ordered an X-Ray. The fake tech used accurate precision and a fake nurse put me in a sling and sent us home. Pretend to say a prayer 🙏 for my speedy recovery! Awesome day shooting with the beautiful team @sublimemediagroup #ER #thepitt #tvcommercial #nashvilletalent #tribeon

🚨🚨🚨 NEW MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW! And this… is what directing a real music video actually looks like. Not just hitting record. But building something meaningful from the ground up. Pitching the concept. Planning the production. Traveling to Nashville. Finding the right actors. Building the right crew. And working together to bring a story to life with intention. Because the best projects aren’t just visuals, they’re stories that mean something. “Deep” by Blackstone Cherry is a story about love, loss, and faith in the face of tragedy… and the hope that can still exist even in the darkest moments. It was truly an honor to help tell a story like this. These are the kinds of videos that can reach people at the exact moment they need it most. Stories like this have the power to encourage, inspire, and remind people they’re not alone. In this carousel, I’m sharing a few of my favorite moments we were able to capture while bringing this project to life. Huge gratitude to Blackstone Cherry for trusting me with a song and video this meaningful, and to the incredible cast and crew who helped make it possible. The full music video is out now. Go watch it. Share it. You never know who might need to see this story today. 🚨🚨🚨 NEW MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW with @blackstonecherryofficial !!! You can’t fake storytelling like this. Not with flashy edits. Not with effects. Real storytelling comes from intention. Planning the shoot. Finding the right actors. Building the right crew. Executing the vision with care. Directing “Deep” by Blackstone Cherry was an opportunity to tell a story about something real. Trauma. Love. Faith. And the strength it takes to overcome darkness. It was truly an honor to help bring a story like this to life, but also a responsibility. Stories like this carry weight. They have the power to reach people in moments when they need hope the most. These are the kinds of films that can change lives, restore faith, mend relationships, and remind people they’re not alone. And that’s what makes them timeless. Huge thank you to the guys in Blackstone Cherry for trusting me with something this meaningful. If you haven’t watched the full video yet, I hope you will. You can find it now on the official Blackstone Cherry YouTube channel. In 1962, during his Rice University speech, JFK said “We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…” It wasn’t just about going to the moon, but he mentioned “the other things”. I live my life by those words I choose to do “the other things.” The hard things. The difficult things. It’s made me a better man than I used to be. Celebrating the birth of a true pioneer, John Cassavetes. He revolutionized indie film and left a lasting impact. He IS the reason why Independent Film exists. Taking it back from the Hollywood executives as a true form of art expression! #johncassavetes #genarowlands #peterfaulk #miafarrow

Casting can make or break a story. 🎬 And I learned that the hard way on “Deep.” We wrapped the production for Blackstone Cherry’s “Deep” over a month ago, and I’m still reflecting on how crucial casting was for this project. This song dives into grief, loss, and the fragile journey of healing and telling that story meant finding the right people who could step into those emotional depths. Not only that but when you’ve got a child actor involved...everything gets compounded and complicated REAL FAST if you don't cast well. You see, it’s not just about picking someone who can act. It’s about trust, care, and making sure every moment feels authentic, without crossing any boundaries. Casting made this story real. Every second spent getting the right people for the roles paid off...TRUST ME. The actors brought honesty and fearlessness to their performances, turning what could’ve been a concept into something the audience will actually feel. It’s a reminder: the right people turn a project from good… into something unforgettable. I’m beyond proud of this team and can’t wait for you to see the final video in early 2026. 🎥✨ How do you approach casting? Have you ever had an experience where the right actor made all the difference? Some projects just hit different. 🎬 We just wrapped the music video for Blackstone Cherry’s “Deep”, and honestly… this one stings. It’s about loss, pain, and trying to find your way back to light when everything feels like it's falling apart. When you’re telling a story this personal, you can’t fake it. Every choice...the lighting, the movement, the tone. Has to serve the emotion. That’s why pre-production was everything for this one. It’s not the most glamorous part of filmmaking, but it’s the most important. We spent hours breaking down the story, understanding the emotional arc, and making sure every frame hit with both grief and healing. It had to feel real, not just like something pretty on a screen. A song like this means something to people, and the visuals had to carry that same weight. Authenticity was key. It’s a reminder that filmmaking isn’t just about capturing cool shots. It’s about translating emotion. You can’t rush that. You have to slow down and understand the story first. That’s where the magic happens. Here’s a little BTS from set… A lot of sweat. A lot of stillness. And a whole lot of purpose behind every frame. What story are you telling? Whether it’s for a client or a passion project, are you letting the emotion drive your work? Drop a comment below and share how you approach your creative projects! Let’s talk about how authenticity shapes what we create. 👇 Band: @blackstonecherryofficial Talent: @_brian_seth (father/husband) @gabrielaadenardo (mother, wife) Leo Denardo (child actor) Production Crew: Producer: @kyleloftusstudios Director: @kyleloftusstudios Director of Photography: @enmanuelzabala18 BTS and Production Assistant: @im__thinking_ Editor and Colorist: @_jpsinger
