A little behind the scenes from a product ad for @dire_designhaus 🐺 There is so much you can do with just a blue/green screen and some creative thinking. For this ad I really wanted to highlight the waterproof material and went for a dark and stormy environment to showcase the product features. I used a spray bottle and a handheld @nanlite_global on the ā€œstormā€ effect to recreate a practical feeling thunderstorm with rain. #videography #videoeditor #productcommercial

Super fun spec ad edit and voice over I did recently. This footage was already made into a different ad so I had a lot of fun trying to create a completely different look and feel. What do you guys think? Huge shoutout to @lobo__films for providing the raw footage. I also used tons of SFX from his ā€œSounds From The Denā€ sound pack in the audio design (highly recommend picking it up). #videoedits #videoediting #videoeditor #davinciresolve #filmmaking

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about why certain projects feel so good when you look back on them. These clips are just some tiny moments from a recent commercial campaign (releasing soon) with literally a few seconds here and there, but they hold so much of what made this project special for me. It wasn’t just the shots. It was the people. Having a DP and camera op I trust. Working with real athletes who actually live this world. David helping everything run smoother than it ever could have otherwise. JP absolutely going f*ckin’ crazy in post (like this guy is insanely talented) I’m realizing more and more that the best work I’ve ever made came from not trying to do everything myself. When you bring the right people into the room… When everyone is really good at what they do… When you trust each other… The work gets better. And honestly, the whole experience gets way more fun. Just sharing a few of my favorite little moments here. Full campaign coming soon. If you’re building something, don’t do it alone. It’s finally here, the official music video for ā€œCelebrateā€ is live! I can’t even begin to put into words how excited I am to share this with all of you. Shooting this project was such a blast, but honestly, it wouldn’t have been possible without every single person involved. From the cast and crew to the band and their assistants, everyone brought their A-game and made this vision come to life. This project pushed me in so many ways. Two music videos in two days, in a state I don’t live in, casting over 20+ actors, juggling logistics, and trusting the team to execute at the highest level, it was risky, stressful, and exhilarating all at once. But here’s the thing: growth only happens when you take the leap and trust your team. When you let people do their thing and align around a shared vision, that’s when magic happens. This video is proof that calculated risk, trust, and teamwork produce work you can be proud of and share with the world. Huge thank you to everyone who made this possible. I can’t wait for you to watch it, and I hope it inspires you to trust your team, take the risks, and chase the big ideas. I recently turned 34, so I figured why not have my parents come over and reflect back on their lives when they were in their 30s (and tell me how I’m doing so far…). #30s

So many hours I wasted trying to learn EVERYTHING (which is impossible), when I could have just STARTED, and learned the best way possible (experience and time). Making mistakes is 100% part of the process. Once you face that fear, it’s just time and consistency.
