That’s a wrap on Fragmented Mirror 2025!It’s been SUCH an honour to help bring these new works to the stage for the first time. Thank you all so much for your dedication, drive and sheer talent. Humbled by you all ️Special thanks to everyone on *30 and Dying To Meet You for trusting me to produce your plays. I had such a blast and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!Even more special thanks to @francesca.grace.woods @bethhaz_ and @_helloabbey, the OG Troupe 22 Producer powerhouses. Gosh it’s been a hot minute since I posted any singing! Let’s just say some amazing lessons from @londonsongbird and @thegentlevoice.studio are kicking in and all I’m hearing right now is flaws… ‍ But that’s part of the process, so here’s some more imperfect singing!⭐️ ‘Maybe’ from Annie has lived in my head rent free since I was like 8 ⭐️ I love the soaring note progression and how a seemingly simple song captures so many feels ️⭐️ This is from a recent @musicall.ldn workshop where @norassic_park and @londonsongbird pushed me to be in the moment - I felt awkward cos I hate being vulnerable ⭐️ But look what came out! TGIF Here’s me on @musicall.ldn opening night at @princeofwalescoventgarden having a go at ‘Somewhere That’s Green’ from Little Shop of Horrors.⭐️ I’d been practising this one for longer and I think you can tell (if you can’t then keep it to yourself )⭐️ I like some of the resonance I’m getting, though it’s mostly in the higher notes⭐️ Still need to work on breathing and relaxing my face ⭐️ Onwards and upwards!. by my biggest fan the amazing @masmith1987.#singing #learningtosing #musicaltheatre #musical #singer #karaoke #sing #somewherethatsgreen #littleshopofhorrors #lsoh

Alright, another #throwbackthursday cos this week I’m working on resonance and this clip has good bits and bad!.This is from last Halloween, a wee rendition of ‘Seggsy’ ( ) from Mean Girls at @overturesldn before it was @musicall.ldn at @princeofwalescoventgarden and featuring @thejackgregsonshow (hi Jack )⭐️ I cut the start cos it was a little too pitchy ⭐️ By the end there are a few moments of nice resonance (and several without )⭐️ Crucially, this time I leaned into the acting. The second I stopped worrying about singing, things felt waaaay easier. (Moral of the story, distraction is key ). thanks for capturing this @londonsongbird and teaching me some very useful exercises!!. Happy Saturday! A throwback to a year ago when I casually busted out ‘I’d rather be me’ from Mean Girls at one of my best friend’s birthday parties at @blamegloriacoventgarden ⭐️ I was obvs first to sign up for karaoke⭐️ Obvs no one else sang musical theatre ⭐️ Even the host declined to join in ⭐️ I think I’m a little pitchy but who cares - we had a great time . thanks @henna__xo for capturing this .#singer #singing #learningtosing #musicaltheatre #musical #karaoke #idratherbeme #meangirls

Had to post cos I feel really proud - just had a singing lesson with @thegentlevoice.studio where we focused on relaxing the tension in my tongue, jaw and breathing (which I didn’t realise looked so sexy ) and after a few simple exercises things feel loosey goosey baby Thank you!! Not an ad but I’m super grateful and very happy to recommend! This week @musicall.ldn did choir and a singing workshop, coached by @londonsongbird and hosted by @thejackgregsonshow wooo I had a go at a song I’ve been working on for aaages but never cracked: ‘She Used to be Mine’ from @waitressmusical it was SO fun (even though I accidentally licked Liv )⭐️ I’ve been trying and failing to belt this song without straining so recently switched to singing it in my mix (I think!)⭐️ Liv fixed this within 5 minutes with some simple exercises and this was the result! ⭐️ Need to keep practising of course (esp letting that jaw hang!!) but not a bad start!. courtesy of @thejackgregsonshow thank you! I stretched my mezzo range with ‘Never Enough’ from @greatestshowman… once I got started ⭐️ Blanked the first line… but it kinda worked!⭐️ Then had to get my head back in the game⭐️ Looking up cos once again I’ve forgotten everything I practised and I’m figuring it out on the fly .
